HEROES Notes: the not-so-Merry-go-round!

Saturday, April 11, 2009 Wesley Leave a comment

heroes-notesIs it just my imagination or has Heroes run out of ideas. To me the series just seems to be going around in circles. Like a merry-go-round who’s operator has fallen asleep at the controls. Each week now it is just a never ending cycle of Danko catching the ones blessed with abilities, and then the power-blessed ones escape. Danko catches one or two and they escape. One of the blessed heores loses and ability, then gets it back… round and round we go, but like being on a merry-go-round, we never actually get any place!

In fact the only characters that keep me watching are HRG and Sylar. At least there is still mystery surrounding them. I mean we still don’t know what Sylar is up to (if anything). Is he going to come and wipe out everyone?

And HRG… who’s side is he really on? Or is he just doing what he always does; protecting his family!

Who knows really… and if Heroes doesn’t improve soon, who will really care!

OK geeks of Britain. This weekend was made for you… well and as it is Easter, looking for chocolate eggs as well!

Last night we saw the return of Red Dwarf after 10 years lost in space! And it was just like it had never left our screens!

Don’t worry though if you missed the first episode, there are two more, and I am sure you will be able to catch-up!

Part-two of this three part return in on Dave tonight at 9pm

And if the return of Red Dwarf is not enough for you out there in geek land, tonight 6:45pm, the Doctor returns, in a one-off special Doctor Who; Planet of the Dead, and not only is it going to be one of David Tennant’s last outings as the Doctor, but Outside the Box favourite Michelle Ryan will be there to sex-up the screen a bit!
